Fearless Networking for Introverts
Fearless Networking for Introverts is a workshop for professionals who want to build authentic business relationships without forcing an extrovert persona or exhausting themselves in the process. Backed by research from The Business Journals, networking and strategic partnerships are seen as the #1 growth driver by small business owners and executives (51%, ahead of hiring, digital transformation, and innovation). In other words: networking matters—but it doesn’t have to feel like torture with name tags. Led by author, speaker, and coach Laura Reid, this introvert-friendly session reframes networking as a skill (not a personality trait), and it gives participants practical strategies to show up calm, connect with intention, and be remembered for the right reasons. Attendees will leave with: * A simple, repeatable plan for walking into networking spaces with more calm and confidence. * Conversation tools that create genuine connection without “working the room.” * A clear, memorable way to explain what they do—so others can easily remember and refer them. Networking can feel human again—and even enjoyable.
